A little bit about us, the Go For Two team
Ryan Hagberg
Anyone who has ever met Ryan would likely reach the same conclusion: his life has always revolved around sports. As kid, when he wasn’t playing competitive baseball, hockey, or football, there’s a good chance he was watching sports, or researching something sports related. Even when it became apparent that he wasn’t going to The Show, his passion for sports only continued to grow. He has been able to transform his lack of romantic success into turning himself one of the biggest sports geeks around, and somewhat of a fantasy degenerate. He occasionally bets on sports too. Born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Ryan is a diehard fan of the Yankees, Rams, Raptors, and Red Wings. Bringing years of success and experience in the world of fantasy, with top-tier sports knowledge to boot, Ryan is determined to put ‘Go For Two’ on the map and to provide top-quality analysis and advice to its readers.
Jonathan Morrow
Born into a household of Montreal Canadiens fans, Jonathan knows what it is like to feel heartache. He thought he deserved even more pain so he became a Chicago Bears fan. His favourite basketball and baseball teams are the Toronto Raptors and Toronto Blue Jays since, well, he is Canadian. Recently crowned king of his fantasy football league (2021 season), Jonathan knows when to draft a guy like Ja’marr Chase and when to pass on a guy like Trey Sermon. Married to the love of his life and fur dad to his doggo, Maizie, Jonathan loves watching sports, playing sports, and most importantly, betting on sports.
Ermando Crupi
Ermando is a life long Leafs fan and firm believer in analytics to build both strong real life and fantasy sports teams. Also a Raiders fan, Ermando plans to cover both hockey and football through a data-focused lens.
Derek Bulsink
As a Lions fan, Sens fan, and believer in Kyle Shanahan’s running game for fantasy, Derek is a glutton for punishment. Between drafting Trey Sermon anywhere and everywhere to starting Josh Reynolds in a must win matchup, he isn’t afraid to trust in his strong convictions. When not stressing about fantasy football, Derek enjoys petting golden doodles, playing hockey on the outdoor rinks and long walks on the beach. He lives in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
